AiTradely vs TradingView is less a contest than a choice of job. TradingView is a charting platform, and charting is where it is stronger. AiTradely is an AI trading analyst: you ask it about an asset, describe a strategy without code, backtest it on history and get an alert when it fires. Many traders find the two do different work, so the useful question is what you want the tool to do for you.

Where TradingView is stronger

Almost everything to do with charts. TradingView is built around the chart itself: drawing tools, a very large indicator library, wide market coverage, a big community that publishes ideas, and years of maturity. If you spend your day marking up price, comparing assets and customising layouts, it is the better place to do it.

AiTradely's charts are there to support analysis and trade plans, not to compete on depth. If the chart is the whole job, choose TradingView and do not look back.

TradingView also lets you write your own indicators and strategies in Pine Script, its programming language. That is a real advantage if you can code: you can build almost anything. It is also a barrier if you cannot.

How AiTradely works day to day

AiTradely starts from questions and rules rather than from a blank chart. A typical day looks like this:

  1. Open the daily analysis for an asset you follow. It gives a direction and writes out the reasoning behind it.
  2. Ask the AI assistant a question, such as what is moving gold today. It answers from live prices, indicators and news.
  3. Ask for a trade plan on the timeframe you choose, from 5m to 1d. It gives an entry, a stop and a target built by rules from the chart.
  4. Check the economic calendar for events that move the asset before you commit.
  5. Size the position with the position size calculator, then decide whether to place the trade yourself.

The strategy builder is the part that most differs from a charting platform. You pick conditions from a menu, such as RSI below a level, price above an EMA, a MACD cross, volume at twice its average, or a break of structure. You then backtest the rule on history and set an alert. Say you build a rule that fires when RSI drops below 30 while price sits at a lower Bollinger Band on the 1h chart. The app watches for it and notifies you. No code is involved. You can browse the full list on the features page.

If you want to place trades from the app, you can connect your own cTrader or MetaTrader 5 account. The AI never trades on its own. You place every order. See the pages on cTrader and MetaTrader 5 for how that works.

What each tool does not do

TradingView does not act as a plain-language analyst that reads the market and explains its view to you. It gives you the tools, and you form the view. Its alerts and strategies are powerful, but you set them up yourself, and its deeper strategy testing assumes you are comfortable with code.

AiTradely does not try to match a dedicated charting platform on drawing tools or on the size of its community. Its builder has no condition for chart patterns such as head and shoulders, double tops, triangles or flags, and none for an opening range. If your method depends on those, you will mark them by hand on a chart (our guide to the head and shoulders pattern shows how). AiTradely also does not cover indices. It is not a broker and it does not trade for anyone.

AiTradely vs TradingView: who each is for

TradingView suits you if you are a chart-first trader, you enjoy drawing and customising, you want the widest choice of markets and community ideas, or you already write code and want full control.

AiTradely suits you if you are newer to trading or short on time, you would rather describe a rule in conditions than program it, you want something watching your rule while you are away, or you like asking questions and getting answers grounded in live data and written reasoning.

Using both is common and makes sense. Chart and explore in TradingView, then turn the idea into a tested rule in AiTradely and let it be watched. For a wider look at how AI analysis compares with older tools, read AI trading analysis vs traditional tools.

Side by side, in plain sentences:

  • Charting depth: TradingView is stronger.
  • Community and shared ideas: TradingView is stronger, AiTradely has none.
  • Building a strategy: AiTradely uses conditions and no code, TradingView uses Pine Script.
  • Asking a question in plain language: AiTradely is built for it, TradingView is not.
  • Alerts: both offer them, AiTradely ties them to a strategy you built and backtested.
  • Cost: both have paid plans, and prices change often, so check each provider's own site.

Common questions

01

Is AiTradely a TradingView alternative?

Only partly. It does not replace TradingView's charting, but it can replace the part where you would otherwise learn code to test and watch a strategy.

02

Can I use AiTradely and TradingView together?

Yes. Many traders chart in one and build, test and monitor rules in the other. Nothing about either tool stops you from using both.

03

Do I need to code to build a strategy in AiTradely?

No. You choose conditions such as RSI, moving averages, volume or market structure, then backtest and set an alert.

04

Does AiTradely place trades for me?

No. You can place a trade from the app on your own cTrader or MetaTrader 5 account, but you decide and place every order.

Putting it into practice

Pick the tool by the job. If you need the best possible chart, use TradingView. If you want to describe a rule, test it on history and be told when it fires, that is where AiTradely fits. Before you rely on any rule, remember that a backtest only shows how it behaved in the past.

A good next step in the AiTradely app is to take one idea you already chart, such as a moving average cross or an RSI level, and build it in the strategy builder. Then run the backtest, set the alert, and ask the AI assistant to explain what the market is doing the next time it fires.

Nothing here is financial advice. Backtested results describe how a rule behaved on past data, and a rule that looked good in history can lose money in live markets.
