On day 8 we charge the plan price you picked at signup — Trader ($29.99) or Trader Pro ($59) — and the subscription renews monthly. Cancel anytime before day 8 in iOS Settings → Subscriptions (App Store) or via the Stripe customer portal (web) and you won't be charged.

Do I need a credit card to start?

Yes — to start the 7-day free trial, a payment method is required (card via Stripe on web, Apple ID via App Store on iOS). You aren't charged until day 8, and only if you didn't cancel.
